Mannequin or Real Life Model?
 

Hey,

Does the online shopper prefer a Real life Model or Mannequin??

I have ask my friend around, almost all prefer Real Life?

I am getting the mannquin and wanted to have the images like forever 21?

But still doubting whether to get the mannequin or not?

For those who has blogshop, what do you think about it?

haha... no one want to answer this question? okie, here's my 2 cents worth....


I dont have a blog shop, only physical shopfront so am giving my comments from an online customer's pov.

Go for real life model IF you can find one that can pose naturally in front of the camera AND you have a good camera-man.

Someone who doesn't know how to pose and behave in front of the camera will does more damage to your sales than using a mannequin. A good camera-man is also important because taking pics of a real life model is different from taking pics of a dead mannequin. Being able to capture your real life model at the right angle and at the moment does wonders to your pictures.

And dont forget to play with props like hats, sunglasses, accessories, etc and choosing the right background for your real life model is also important.

For online shopping i think most of the people prefer real life model. Mannequin is more for shopfront.
