i have just started one, its really not easy, u have to do market research, see whether the things that u want to sell, whether is it in demand.. and the accounts part make me faint.. haha

My name is Kent Kwok. I was the top seller on Yahoo Auction (userid : kentkwok66) as at its closed down in Sept. 2008

I've set up an online auction site 99auction.com, a cell box shop 99cell.com at Suntec City. Also, a 99gadget.com for gadget wholesales / corporate gift / online retails. And an accounting website 99account.com

I'm looking for some sellers to focus online to promote our gadgets products. Will provide one to few training to teach them how to sell online, how to do the e-marketing and so on.

To start a online business, you need to know what you going to sell and what your mission

- after that you need to know how you going to sell

- do know who is your target market

- get yourself a domain and a hosting

- create a website with amazing content

- done SEO for onsite and offsite.

- do some marketing on it like promo and some give away

- try to convert it to sale like call to action

you may like to try some of suggestions below:

1) start a blog / personal webpage first

2) Advertise at Singapore's notice boards / MRT/ Bus Stops and online classifieds like St701/ Adpost, etc

3) Newspaper or Magazine Ads

4) Ads in Cold Storage, NTUC Finest notice boards

5) Social Media : Facebook, Twitter etc.

6) SEO - if you seriously want pay apprx S$3,500 and guranteed 1st page at Google for 1 year
