Hi people, can anyone tell me that is there any good classes that teach people photoshop? I am very keen to learn how to use photoshop.. :) Please help me :)

XavieraLin, what sort of editing are you intending to do using PS? I do have experience on simple editing using PS (was a multimedia student lol) so if you are talking about color improvement, removal of 'impurities' from the face etc, I believe I can help at no cost.

sometimes, going for a course may not be applicable to what you want to learn so before you commit to any commercial course out there, be clear on what they are touching on :)

u can try free basic photoshop at Photoshop Express (www.photoshop.com/express). would have to sign in and upload ur photos before u can use the basic editing functions.

other websites that have photo-edit services include www.picnik.com and www.snipshot.com

I designed my own namecard in jpeg format but most of the printing shop need the photoshop format.

hmm not sure if the above websites can help to save in .psd format. but actually dun need photoshop format to print namecards leh... i went to expressprint - they accept in jpeg format. but my colours was a bit off though cos i saved in rgb colors (used photoshop elements..)

uhm.. most shops dun require in PSD, unless you're going for thoses really pro ones. just high rez jpeg should do...

Thanks you people.. Like for example I have taken the pics and I wanna to make it nicer and add some starburst around my accessories :) cos I am not a very boring person so I wan to add some life to my pics.. You can go to my website and take a look and give me some comments :)

oh~
ur "blinky" thing save as .eps, put on top of ur original pic, flatten image, if u wan ur pics in moving "blink",save as .jpeg, hope it works.:laff:

the best is to go YOUTUBE and search. no need to pay and just need some practice and all. why waste money when internet have all the info. or perhaps try to go library and borrow abook on it :)

try cyberoffice . sg under the workshops. they have small group training for photoshop n web design. :)

there are many of those short courses organized by community centres in the suburb. Can call up your local cc to check
