![]() Good Evening,
I am a newbie who intend to setup a small biz. Very concern will we be tax if we travel to China or Thailand and bring our goods from there? Any advise? If got tax, how is the tax rate like? Or how can we overcome this issue? Lastly, usually what type of goods we bring in from China and Thailand? |

![]() Hi,
The tax which is GST is 7%. There is certainly ways to overcome this issue. Usually people bring in toys, accessories from China and T-shirts, etc from Thailand. Cheers Ses |

![]() as long as total value don't exceed SGD$400... (check ica website.. it's written there)
it's the same if you order something from china and have it shipped via DHL or fedex.. they will always say you may be liable for gst... but of course, there's always methods ard this |
