Response in SIM

Hi there,

I am planning to rent a booth there at SIM. Does anyone of you has any contact? And for those who have rented before, kindly please share the response there. Is the sales good or bad there?

Thank you!

Hi ! the sales there is not bad ... depend on wad u are selling actually ... and the crowd comes in later ... not so early ... unlike other uni ... and their lessons end quite late ... normally other uni by evening alr quite quiet ... but SIM can do until ard 8pm ... i think cos overall their lessons are later in the day ... :)

Hey guys !

Sorry to disappoint.
Pushcarts are only open to SIM FULL TIME Students. Even if there are assistants, these assistants need to be SIM studnets(FT/PT) as well.

Hope this helps !

Hi,
Is this true? Hmmm.. kinda of strange, as it seems that many people and some from this forum has tried the pushcart in SIM (i am not sure if they are all SIM Full time students). Or perhaps they got to rent it through the help of FT students there?
Can anyone give a thinker here?

Yea i know what you mean, but when i called to check, they said Pushcarts-are only meant for students. But perhaps some played around with the rules a little, i really dont know.

but there are occassional events, where tables are given to set up in the foyer itself. These are definitely not students, i was told that these are organised by clubs. Maybe the clubs contact sellers or something, i need sometime to check with these clubs before i could answer you this for sure.

I know someone just had a "booth" over tue and wed, might wana check with her ? re : http://retailbx.sg/showthread.php?t=652

I am also a FT SIM student .. :)

Indeed the push carts which are located at level 3 can only be applied by FT students. The rule is the carts must be open during lunch time.
And usually most of them closed around 6pm.

As for the events, like the last one 2weeks back, "SIM wellness week". The booth was free for the students. I applied through the student portal and I managed to get it for free.
The one which was held this week. Is organised by a club in our sch. Most of them are external vendors.
Timing is 11am - 6pm.
