Hi people, I happened to chance upon this site and I'm glad that there is such a community around.

Just a quick question.. are most pushcart/blogshop owners raking in decent income each month to sustain a decent lifestyle?

I'm very interested in going into this industry but I realize that a major problem is finding good suppliers who are able and willing to provide goods at reasonable rates. Most of the "suppliers" I have seen on this site, their prices don't make cow sense.. they're almost retail rates already! How do you guys even make proper money if you were to source your products from them?

some suppliers do not publish their wholesale rates online. have to check with them personally for the amounts and if any bonusing / promotions / bundle deals.

as for blogshop owners -- those i know usually dun order the stock in until they got confirmed / paid-up orders. if not, most of their stock are under consignment basis. some, they source for cheap cheap items from wholesale centres from bangkok, etc

Thanks for your reply.

Where can I find the locations of such wholesale centres? I intend to pop by China next month to hunt down factories that can supply me direct.

China currency exchange rate not so good leh.:( .u nvr thought of bangkok?There side also got a lot of wholesale market there..:)

There is a massive riot at Bangkok now, even airport also close ATM. I planned to go there too but felt that it is not the ideal time, there might be a possibility that the supplier you find there, closed down as their worker or maybe the owner itself join in the riot :laff:

yiwu is a place in china, sells alot of stuff. alot of loacl businesses goes there to get their stuff.,
