![]() Hi Friends,
I would like to share with you all my experience: I have bought some merchandise from this China website: wholesale-dress.net, they have plenty of beautiful statement in their web including the return and exchange policy. To my surprise, I received more than 20% defective items in my order, when I email them, they replied and ask me to clean and repair my merchandise myself and refuse to accept responsibility, and keep on emphasize on the cost of return. They also failed to check the availability of stocks and ask me to make full payment instead, so I end up paying more and have unnecessary credit balance with them. All this are all to their advantage. The trouble is that some of the items are beyond repair; they did not check their merchandise before delivery and simply ship out defective items. I was told by my friends that most of the on line purchase do have similar problem, so beware!! Please share my experience with your friends so that they don't have to be caught in my position. Good day! Steven |

![]() Instead of purchasing online, I purchase directly from the manufactures (not suppliers). I keep to the rules of good business.
Defective or unsatisfactory items are kept below 5%. Depending on the value, I would discard most of them on behalf of the manufacturer and he would refund me the cost. Shipping delays use to be a problem but we got around that after several emails and a meet up session. When I went to China, they usually would spend a day to meet me as well as treat me to a good meal - my choice of restaurant & menu that can costs several hundred yen. People get bad experiences no matter where they go. It is how you handle them that makes the difference. Bad experiences in China are mostly self-created unknowingly by businessman themselves due to cultural/business practice differences. |

![]() I agree. If you can make a trip to china and meet up with the manufacturers, you may just find a reliable company to work with. Companies there are many and they are hungry for business and surprisingly, some offer very good service. Arrange face to face meetings while you're there. Some will even come by and pick you up from the hotel and buy you lunch

![]() Bad experiences occurs everywhere. Don't be discouraged just because of one incident. If you could afford it, make a trip to the manufacturer and talk business face to face. Many of them are just as genuine as you do.
Hope it helps. Thanks. Jason |

![]() MOQ really depends on the economy as well as the relationship you have with the manufacturer. With increasingly more factories in China shutting down due to the lack of orders, they are accepting much smaller orders as compared to last few years.
Compared to the internet, I seriously doubt there is much difference. In fact, I think it can be much lower. Just think about it, who would you give better terms? Someone overseas trying to do business with you through the phone/email or someone whom you have met and "make friends" with? Running a business dont require qualifications, but it does need someone with the will and the network. |

![]() China is changing and improving itself faster than you think.
Competition plus dampened demand have taught manufacturers, suppliers and service providers to wise up and offer better value, service and quality. Of course, not all are the same, but return customers are definitely treated better and treasured more. If not, just walk away. There are always choices. Buying online are for small timers or for testing purpose. Not the way to go long term. Why? Because so-called online suppliers are just middle-men.. Watch out if they come from Putian. Most are scammers. They even got the balls to call your mobile to confirm your order. Like real.. Until your package never arrives or send you a small toy.. (True experiences) |
