Looking for business partner for t-shirt line

Hi,

I will be launching my original t-shirt line (ie: cartoon characters designed by myself), and is looking for a partner as I've no experience or contacts in the retail business. The target audience is for little girls (toddlers) up to girls in their early teens.

I've a full-time day job, and since I want to focus on the designs and back-end / technical aspects, I'm looking for someone who is strong in the marketing site so that we can complement each other well.

The requirements:

1) Do not have a full-time job, so that you can focus on the marketing and getting the products out and noticed by people, and also to pack the t-shirts into their packaging and have them delivered etc.

2) Preferably an older mature female, as you may need to interact with kids in future outdoor promotional events (ie: I may hire people to wear mascot suits of my own character designs, and get them to walk around malls to spread publicity etc., and you will need to accompany the mascot by answering questions if needed. You don't need to wear any suits, however)

3) Most importantly, you need to have either a strong background or past experience dealing with the apparel retail industry. Would be best if you've contacts etc.

4) Profits wise, we will split the earnings 50%-50%.

5) I'll be registering this as a business, and we will need to sign the documents in black-and-white etc. So this is only for people who are genuinely interested and serious about the partnership.

6) Preferably should not have an existing blogshop or business of a similar nature for obvious reasons.

I'm starting this thread and letting it run for the next 1.5 months. If there are no suitable takers, I'll look into hiring a freelance marketer.

Currently, the designs have all been done, and the website is currently under development. Next steps will be to get the products printed and thinking abou packaging etc, but that will be done at a later stage.
