Legal Flyer Distribution Place?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of distributing my flyers.

Is it legal to distribute flyers on the street such as trafic light junction?

How about in sentosa island's beach and streets (not building)?

Thanks in advance for the advise.

Rgds,
golden

Sentosa, its a confirm no. The management will not allow you to do it. Remember, you do have to pay to go in. As for the rest of the place, should be ok, i think, as long as you do not create rubbish and all that. But y not get ppl to do it for you?

Flyer Distribution is legal on public property unless otherwise stated. Private property (including walkways & entrances) of companies and other entities like SMRT, shopping malls would largely depend on the management.

A good gauge as to where the entities' control of the premise is the smoking places. For example, the entire train/bus station is a non-smoking premise. The places where you see smokers end to hang out more or less denotes the start of public property. You could give out flyers there. If you are talking about the common space (sheltered, near top-up areas etc) it is still considered part of the train/bus station's premises and most flyer distribution would not be allowed.

Shopping malls tend to only allow their tenants to give out flyers within their premises. You can however, make arrangements with them even if you are not a tenant though be prepared to pay some money.
