![]() Hi everyone. I am hoping for some advise for the above. Of course we need to have some level of trust before we employ a sale person but anything else we can do to prevent theft / dishonesty / or the fellow running away. But initial tots are the following and I welcome feedback:
- stock take at every hand over (but that bag the questions what if there are customer theft which sometime happen - who take the loss?) - BACKGROUND check for premium member here - so information not reveal to everyone If anyone has stories to tell about their staff, maybe can share her - good or bad - lets have a learning session. thank you. |

It's really hard to monitor unless you get someone you know off or recommadations. When you have alot of stocks it's not possible to do stock take everyday...for me i actually thought of an idea which is tell my staff if she can pursude the customer to buy without discount then the discount will be her comm. Ask yr friend to check her out by buying yr stuffs n see if she pocketed the $$. As to the stocks, i really have no idea yet unless you will take over the afternoon shift. Employ aunties instead of youngsters lor. Anway, i would like to hear more suggestions also. |

![]() I think I know. Do stock take once a week.
Initial stock + Replenishment stock - left over stock = stock sold. Which in tern equal to money collected So any missing amount mean stock stolen and sale staff has to take ownership and pay the difference. Of course give and take some small allowance. Drawback is the price must be fixed otherwise difficult to calculate, so applying what the above thread says earlier, the sale staff can gives minimal discount and she can keep the discount as commission. What do you guy / gal think? |

![]() I find it quite impossible to do stock take on the fly for pushcart. The amount of goods you bring there is "countless" and you have different price for different items so canna juz count the qty. It is truly a chore to do stocktake for pushcarts. For bazaars, still ok as normally you dun bring a lot for such a short event (a few days to a week). Pushcart norm is 1mth right? Imagine how much time you have to spend juz to stock take every week..wow!
Hmm, the trustworthy of salesgal i think really is heng suay lor...must get the right person to do it for you...i know got aunties employed as salesgal but also steal $ leh ![]() But i am lucky..so far so good ![]() i thank what to do is to visit the stall whenever you can and chk the sales record book. Give them the msg that you are monitoring closely ![]() |

![]() Thanks for all the feedback. But the cash register has record right, so just paste a notice big big say all customer must collect receipt (for exchange or any other reason given) then just check collection against cash register loh. hehe...
Any comment on those ca,mera install in shop -> does those prevent theft??? |
