Feedbacks On Locations...
Hi all,
I'm sure many of you have these questions in mind.. How's the crowd, the sales & the situation like in a particular place. So I thought.. why not we share our experiences and feedbacks on the pushcarts, events or flea markets that you've been to.. I'll start.... Tampines Flea Market - I've mentioned many times that the place has been good for me...Good crowd, good spending power.. Mostly foreigners & families.. Sunday's crowd will be very good cos there's a church nearby and the church-goers will pass by there. You must have the correct items to sell though.. The best flea I've been to with easy access to carpark. :yippee: Lime Flea Market - Did this a few years ago.. so I don't know whether it has changed.. :confused2: Very hot, small space... Crowds are mostly teenagers, youths, young adults.. Very little crowd in the beginning. Crowd will come in only around after 4pm. Quite competitive as many other stalls selling the same thing. I did manage to cover my rental with marginal profit. CC - Older crowds, relatively cheap rental... Definitely can cover your rent.. Must sell things cheap.. cos there'll be a lot of bargain hunters.. Sell cheap & you'll be able to sell more.. I think cheap 2nd hand items will work here. Usually in the morning till afternoon.. so don't expect too much crowd. I'm interested in Cuppage pushcarts & Khatib flea market... Anyone can share? :thanx: |

Doing one bazaar now at Plaza Sing by Weekends....
LOUSY!!!! Super hot! No crowd! No advertisement! Our tent got covered by M1 Road Show!!!! Practically nobody will see us! Am here for almost 6 hours. NO SALES!!!! |
Re: Feedbacks On Locations...
Based on what I read on the Flea Market in Pasir Ris East CC in Dec 2007, no crowd cos people are in and out very fast.
Not sure if things have changed now. Any feedback from those who have sold there in last few months. Thanks! |

Re: Feedbacks On Locations...
where is this tampines flea market? :confused2:
monthly affair? i tried fleatique at Anderson Courtyard of SAM recently - lots of students and young adults. was selling handmade accessories and 2nd-hand bags & pouches & wallets. my accessories sales were rather good. managed to sell some 2nd-hand stuff, but not as good even at prices of $1 to $5! saw the clothing stores around me, customers flip here and there, but seldom got sales :coffee: but this event very hot, and smelly too (there was this pungent vomit-like smell! ) quite dark (night event, lights only at corner, my booth in the centre). then there are some music performances in the other hall, a bit noisy when talking to customers |
