The basic eCommerce Marketing principles have remained the same since the preliminary days of internet and eCommerce boom – bring the visitor to your website and convert the visitor to a customer. Though the entire eCommerce Marketing and Promotion has evolved around this same basic ideas, the internet evolution, increased competition (Read: cut-throat competition), changes in user behavior with more internet savvy users, etc. have changed the methods, means and effort required to make your eCommerce Website a successful business – research shows that more than 90% of eCommerce Websites are not living up to their full potential.

First make sure your website is attractive but not cluttered, and easy for visitors to understand. Read up on this or invest a little for a designer to help u.

Wonder WHY individuals and companies WILLING to pay few thousands dollars to engage PROFESSIONAL website designer?

You NEED a Professional looking E-commerce website to ATTRACT customers and HELPS your business GROWS... and NOT a cheapo looking one to promote your products...Customers not feeling CONFIDENT enough in your products by the way you market them.

I believe you also came across some websites that is too crowded, small pictures and unclear detail of product etc...the NEXT thing you closed the website and source further.

Recently I engaged a company to setup a website (half the cost) for me to get more business in...still in progress. This individual designer is helpful and willing to SHARE type of person. We talked about the ways to promote and market products. You also need to look into few areas like SEO, domain name, web hosting etc.

You PAY peanuts and you will GET peanuts...

I'm currently doing my own printing business and providing hot stamping service to individuals and companies. I also plan to go into wedding card business and thats why I want to setup a website.
