Digital Receipt Vs Printed Receipt
Most of us receive printed receipt when we bought something from the shop. Do you read the receipt and keep it for future reference (may be for exchange or refund purposes)?
Thermal paper is one of the popular way for receipt printing due to the high speed, silence and cost. However, some of the thermal paper are coated with BPA to make the receipt "smooth" on its surface. The BPA is notorious as it has been identified as endocrine disruptor (chemical ingredient that will interfere hormone system in animal and human that can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders). Due to the toxic characteristics, thermal paper is not able to recycle.
As we are more conscious about greener environment, will you accept digital receipt?
