Honestly speaking, this place is a dead town. I honestly think it is very difficult to even break even. There must be a reason why so many people are giving up this place. All people claim that they are not free or have other commitments but lets be honest here.......it's quite obvious the reason if you spend some time to analyse.

I suggest those people who wants to give up their pre-book dates at Somerset 313.......please bear a thought for others. You guys have been to this place and you guys honestly know whether you can make money or not. please do not drag others into the pithole.

I suggest you demand a refund from the organiser rather than to seek other people to replace you. Really my honest opinion.

Dear Beztech,

Let me be your "opponent" this time round.
You seem to be more on the "dark" side, sharing your critical opinions on fellow forumers' thread as and when.
You are like an "opposition" party (election issues are "hot" nowadays, so i'll term you that), BUT even though being an opposition should have substance.(the people will know if one has substance or not)
I appreciate your comments but they are not quite useful though.
Your choice of words may cause a "flamming" game to start.
I appreciate it if you can use more appropiate words in getting your point across in future.

Let me provide the rebuttal on your points:

Firstly, It's a willing buyer and willing seller situation.
TS opened the thread bcos of intention of letting out the space.
Anyone interested can contact.
So, what's the problem?

I do understand where you are coming from and i do agree to a certain extent. BUT, for this case, your comments are not appropiate to the whole matter. You may want to open up a thread on the 313 being a "dead" town which i do not quite understand why do you say that though.
Furthermore, even if its a "dead" town or the vendor made heavy losses, it's still an experience gained.
However, if it's really a "dead" town like you said, vendors can actually negotiate further with the organisers for some sort of "compensation". But tht's between themselves.

Secondly, the organiser would have covered themselves with their terms and conditions that they will not be providing the refund unless the whole event is cancelled by the organiser themselves.
Do think of a objective note, that if everyone goes to the organiser for a refund for whatever reason. The organiser's job will not be that of a organiser but instead of a "refunder".

I must be crazy to spend time opposing the opposition.
Well, take it as a day off from me.

I rest my case and i'll not reply you on any of your replies (if there is) as i see no point to carry on.

Good day to you.
Happy surfing and do spare a thought for fellow forumers.

Regards,
dardar2007

It doesn't mean you join a busy bazaar you will make money, yesterday I shared a bazaar space with a friend in United Square.United Square is not "dead town" and was very crowded but some vendors was very busy but few closed very early because no business.
We join a bazaar we do not know how is the business today and tomorrow or this week and next week.
They is no 100 percent every bazaar make money sometimes you make sometimes you don't .Some vendors make alot of money but some loss money in the same bazaar.
Vendors gave up their space legally through this forum if anyone want to take the space at a lower cost they already has the mindset of just trying it out for a day.
People wanted to give up their space are not cheating so why must somebody here rebuked any person because she wanted to let go her space. The person that take over the space should go and take a look before she take over.
Letting go bazaar space in this forum is approved by admin.

Ok....I have read thru the post for a few times and this is my conclusion:

1) I might sound a bit rude and disrespectful to the TS. I should have probably started a new thread and name it " Be very careful when considering to join the ongoing bazaar at Somerset 313". I should not have maybe tag onto this TS post. For this, I am man enough to say Sorry and apologise to the TS.

2) I have never ever said that the TS or people trying to give up their table are trying to cheat people...... I just ask them to "bear a thought for others". This are the actual words I have said.

3) My main objective is not alert and caution people who are considering to join not to go to this event because....honestly ( I still believe so), the event space is really really quite. Those who have join should agree with this point.

4) I agree that joining a busy bazaar might not necessary means that you will make profit but by joining a quiet bazaar, my chances of getting profit is extremely low. I also agree that no bazaar is guarantee to make money but ask yourself honestly, given a choice, would you rather go for a busy or quiet bazaar where the number of traffic flow is extremely low ??

5) Not everyone has the time to survey a site before joining a bazaar and that's the purpose of this forum and gather info before joining a bazaar. Plus, the venue is misleading because a lot of people would assume that since it is held at Somerset 313, where the MRT station is, the crowd and business should be good.

Anyway.....as I have mention, my main aim is to share with people and caution them from joining this bazaar because the crowd is super low. Especially the fashion bazaar which is held on Wed. That is really my honest objective.

I might have been rude and disrespectful to the TS and the words that I used might not have been properly said so, for another time, I apologise to the TS.
