First time setting up a stall at flea market.. Can expert advise me of how to start this ? Need to take note of anything or any tip for good sales ? Thanks |

![]() Well... there arent any really sure win secret.
All depends on where your stall is set up at? Who are you selling your products to? What product you selling? In this kind of economy, people tend to buy really cheap things. Even tho your product may be unique and not available in Singapore, but if the price not right, you will ending up feeling disappointed. Manage your own expectation, when people bargain, you have to give them a good price, that is all about flea market... Cheap and Good ![]() |

![]() Selling at a Flea market is definitely much cheaper than selling at a push cart.
Typically a stall at flea market will cost less than $50 a day, whereas pushcart goes by the month, a pushcart at HDB hub cost $3000-$4000 a month. So you have to know who you r targeting exactly and how much budget you can spare for the operation cost. For a 1st timer, I would suggest you try out at a flea market 1st. ![]() |

Don't worry just go forwards to try.Some tip for you hope this help. 1.1 How much capital and time you have before start.Are You ready to start?Are you friendly & with smile every where you go ? 1. Get to know where are all this flea market location. 2. Find out what is the rental ,price , date and time. 3. Find out what item can be sell there. 4. Find out what type of buyer and crown there.( Be there in person to watch and feel yourself before enter if you limited capital) 5. Not enough capital try to get more consignment stuff to test market before buying your own stuff. 6.Ask if table aand chair provoid. 7. Can your stuff travel together with you in pubic transport. 8. Do you have a A Grade in your Maths. Do take important Note CAN YOU WAKE UP EARLY , HOW IS YOU STUFF BE TRANSPORT & ARE YOU ALONE. 1. Mainly flea market start early like from 7a.m to 2pm or so. Early bird can catch good worms. 2. Are you prepare to give 30% profit the Taxi if you have no transport , consider pubic Transport. Coz more cost go to Transport and Rent. 3. If you are a one man show business are you friendly , cute with smile if not you have to bring your own food , drink and toilet with me. Hope this can tip you. Kioskwerkz
