Any Sellers Promote In Facebook or Twitter?
Wonder any sellers promote in facebook or twitter? Anyone get any "real fans and followers"? Share your experience. My experience I promote my page there, but most of them are "fake". Cause I use fb exchange likes and twiends. I still think that Twitter is better than Facebook. Short meg can get more "like-minded" people to know what you r selling.

Re: Any Sellers Promote In Facebook or Twitter?
With online stuff and esp facebook, the important thing is good pictures. I know you have a small shop but look at the bigger online fashion stores and see how they do it. . For example look at this facebook page of a Singapore online fashion store. Twitter may be good if you have serious fans... but ya if places like Zalora Singapore can do it I'm sure you can find it useful too. use it to double up lor..

Re: Any Sellers Promote In Facebook or Twitter?
No doubt fb & twitter are today's social platform to engage with your customers that you can't do without...regardless if you have fan base or not, you have to jump on this platform sooner or later. It takes alot of time n effort to build up fan base n followers. You have to try ways to create interesting content (not just selling post) to update your fans n followers regularly & keep them interested to be in the loop for more updates. Of cos big boys with deep pockets can afford to pay PR & marketing companies to get huge fan base overnight...but whether is just 'rara' or the ROI is justifiable depends on your biz model. Alot of fans on social platform doesn't necessarily mean products are flying off the shelf....its easy to 'talk' socially but when it comes to taking money from your fans/followers pocket is a different ball game. Hope you catch my ball

Facebook ads is quite useful, just a little bit expensive. there is a rocket like one time payment can push your fans like 10000, i found it not a real fans like but it help then number of your fans like is truth. but those fans like wont convert to sale, but built your popularity fans like

You need 4 non selling posts before a selling posts. Be genuine and don't hide or remove negative comments. Your audience prefer to follow a person rather than a company.

Facebook works well as an platform to engage your "customers". Unfortunately, selling on facebook is not very effective as compared to building up your branding. If you do want to sell to your fans using facebook, do so subtly
