Forwarder from Bangkok
Hi,
I'm going to order some goods from Bangkok. Anyone know a good forwarder/shipping agent that can ship my goods over at a reasonable cost? Thanks |

Re: Forwarder from Bangkok
To me i think using UPS is fast and not too expensive. its about 10-15% more than using forwarder and it takes 1 day only.
Bear in mind that using any forwarder will incurr GST from the singapore custom |

Re: Forwarder from Bangkok
you mean using UPS will not incurr GST? I thought as long as we bring in goods for selling purpose, we have to declare GST.

Re: Forwarder from Bangkok
yes all goods will have GST, any forwarder be it Thai post office, UPS, DHL all will incurr GST in singapore custom. so it will be best to ask your supplier to invoice you smaller amount else the tax can be quite alot.

Re: Forwarder from Bangkok
why don't you carry home? you are allowed 20kg for check-in luggage. my some advice, if >100kg do water shipping else do by air.
